We are pleased to announce that the South Carolina Summary Court Judges Association’s (SCSCJA) new website went live Friday, January 27, 2012. The new web address is www.scscja.org (it is no longer scscja.com because there were issues with the domain name being released and we did not want to delay going live with the new website). We hope you will be pleased with our new look and content. The IT Committee will be adding new content to take advantage of available functions such as the calendar of events which will include online seminar registration, membership applications, a photo gallery and other exciting options.
Some sections of the website will be open to the general public. Members of the SCSCJA in good standing will need to register the first time and then log in when they visit the website to have access to “members only” areas. These areas will include event registration, approved CLE course listings, Executive Board meeting minutes and other limited access information.
To register go to www.scscja.org and click on “register”. You will be prompted to enter a user name and password and some other general information. Your membership status will then be confirmed and upon confirmation you will have complete access to the website. Once you are registered and have logged in, your name will appear in the top right corner and you will be able to click on your name to update your profile information. Please make sure to keep this information updated as it will assist with registering you for classes and other functions on the website.
If you have any problems with the registration process, please feel free to contact one of the IT Committee members listed below. The IT Committee will be available at upcoming SCSCJA functions to answer any questions or assist with getting members registered and familiar with the new website and its functions.
